** Indoor Range Rules **
Effective May, 1978
1. All shooters must sign log
book.
2. Shooting hours are from 9
AM to 11 PM.
3. All weapons will be single
loaded only; Except in registered matches or in practice for a standard course
of fire.
4. No magnum loads,
30-carbine, or any handgun capable of shooting rifle cartridges; such as the
contender pistol.
5. Rifles are limited to .22
cal. Rim fire only.
6. No armor-piercing
ammunition is allowed to be fired indoors.
7. Actions must be kept open
except when firing.
8. No shooting is permitted
while anyone is down range.
9. No extreme crossfire is
permitted.
10. No fast-draw or “hip”
shooting is permitted.
11. Shooting is allowed from
established firing line only.
12. No shooting privileges
will be granted to anyone whose sobriety is in doubt.
13. No alcoholic beverages
are allowed in the clubhouse or grounds.
14. A warning must be given
prior to shooting to allow any non-shooters the opportunity to protect their
hearing.
15. Non-members are not
allowed the use of the range, unless a guest of a responsible member and then
only once.
16. When no authorized
program is scheduled, this range will be used on a first-come, first-serve
basis. Rifle & pistol shooting may be executed at the same time with mutual
agreement on target changing periods. Archery and firearms shooting may be
executed at the same time, with mutual agreement on distance and target
changing periods.
17. All shooting will be on
paper targets only.
18. Anyone using this range
will show proof of membership when requested by any identified member of this
club.
19. Good sportsmanship will
prevail at all times; Bad conduct will not be tolerated.
20. Violation of any of these
rules will jeopardize the membership of the violator.
21. Young people at range are
to be under the supervision on a non-shooting adult.
22. Clean up range after use,
turn lights off, heat down, lock clubhouse, and close front gate.
23. Exception of these rules can only be granted by the board of directors.
