** Outdoor Range Rules **
Effective May, 1978
1. All shooters must sign log
book
2. All weapons will be single
loaded only. Except in registered matches or in practice for a standard course
of fire.
3. Shooting hours are from 9
AM until sunset.
4. Actions must be kept open
except when actually firing.
5. No shooting is permitted
while anyone is down range on either the 100-YD. Or 50-YD. range.
6. No shooting on 50-YD.
Range except from 50-YD. Firing line on bank.
7. No extreme crossfire
shooting is allowed.
8. No pistol shooting is
allowed beyond the 50-YD. Line.
9. No fast draw or “ hip”
shooting is permitted.
10. No shooting of any kind
is permitted beyond 100-YD. Firing line.
11. No shotgun shooting is
allowed.
12. Use paper targets only.
Backers for targets are in small shed located between 100-YD. Firing line and
club house.
13. All targets must be in
target frames. Not hung or fastened to frames or rails.
14. No shooting privileged
will be allowed to anyone whose sobriety is in doubt.
15. No alcoholic beverages
are allowed on the grounds.
16. Non-members are not
allowed the use of range, unless guest of a responsible member, and then only
once,
17. When no authorized
program is scheduled, this range will be used on a first-come , first-serve,
basis and there will be no shooting from more than one established firing line
at the same time.
18. Anyone using this range
will show proof of membership when requested by any identified member of this
club.
19. Good sportsmanship will
prevail at all times; Bad conduct will not be tolerated.
20. Young people at range are
to be under the supervision on a non-shooting adult.
21. Close gate on leaving
club grounds.
22. Violation of any of these
rules will jeopardize the membership of the violator.
23. Exception of these rules can only be granted by the board of directors.
